Pentium-class x86-based desktop PC with 32MB or more of physical RAM
CD-ROM drive
Single 10/100 BaseT ethernet adapter (must be PCI or ISA)
Crossover cable or an isolated 10/100 BaseT auto-sensing ethernet cable between the host PC and the Cobalt Server

The Cobalt OS Restore CD completely erases the disk drive of the Cobalt product before restoring it to factory-fresh state. Before using the Cobalt OS Restore CD, it is highly recommended that you carefully backup and verify any user data from the Cobalt product to another machine or to other media.
